The story is about a band master named Bharat Lal (Pankaj Tripathi) who realizes that his family members conspired against him for the greed of a land he owns and he has now been officially declared dead. The 18 year old begins his struggle to prove that he is actually alive and not a dead man.
The story is interesting and very different to be true. The screenplay is tight, though it may have been tight, but then it was too much. The songs are great. The background score is good. Product design takes precedence over a misleading view. The film is shot on a large scale, and it adds value to the final product.
Pankaj Tripathi, who is finally going to play the lead role in a film, is the best when it comes to shows. His innate goodness and innocence make him the perfect choice to play the protagonist. Monal Gajjar, who plays Rukmini, has a good screen presence with Bharat Lal’s wife and she has done well. Co Actors and other Supporting actors are also performed well in this film.
Overall, the Kaagaz is an entertaining and engaging watch. It’s fun, captivating and director Satish Kaushik’s return to form. Pankaj Tripathi continues his success.
